What keeps me going....

Just when I was beginning to feel burnt from work, this come along.  Got this from a patient's family, one of those sad cases that I will always remember.  He came speacially to express gratitude to all at the hosptial which includes the screener guy that he did not even know his name.  The tiny gesture of going a little extra mile by the screener guy has definetly touch him.  I wonder if he manage to find the screener guy cos he is a temp staff.

The wonderful thing is that despite struggling to cope with his loss, he still bother to visit us after so many months.  Yesterday was World Kindess Day, and his kind gesture has touched me. Thanks to him, I feel better after a lousy week at work.  He reminds me that the tiny things that we do will always have impact on people's life.  And most important is to treasure your loved ones.

May he keep the spirits going and I hope my little passion for work will continue.....

Over the Sea II - Batam ;)

I went Over the Sea again last weekend.  This time really is oversea cos got stamp passport!!! It was a relaxing and entertaining trip to with the gals.  The gals are great companion but must really give credit to our dear Ai Ling Chen :)  She has never failed to entertain us and we have learnt that she is really a true friend.  Eh I mean what I say hor.  Hehehe.. so Ms Chen ah, if you ever read this, don't be too touch huh ;)

The day started with us waiting for our dear friend.  Seriously I don't understand why she must always cover her face when I take photo of her.  Hahaha...

The 4 of us waiting for the ferry at Habourfront.

Arrival at the resort

The room that I share with Yanah - very big bed, can sleep 4 persons ah.

Sea view from our room - if only we can cut down those trees ;)

The resort view

The pool view

I don't have any photos liao cos we have been using Ms Lim and Ms Chen's camera.  I hope I get to see the photos. But come to think about it, one old lady with multiple medical conditions and one old soul trap in a young body, I think the chances of seeing the photos are a bit slim ah.

Anyway, we spent our time quite well at Batam.  Tried all sort of things there, from Go Kart, bowling to spa.  It was a really enjoyable trip.  Thank you gals for the company and lets hope that we have a chance to do this again (ps: minus my horrid gastric flu after I came back to S'pore).
